Wood
Shoulder
Bag
I used wood to make a bag to break the paradigm that bags should be made of fabric or leather. The contrast between the material and its actual function is eye-catching and elegant.
This shoulder bag is made out of plywood and masonite. I chose to make laser-cut live hinges to achieve a foldable layer. With a magnet attachment, this bag can be opened and closed easily. The live hinge additionally gives the bag a lovely pattern so that it looks very distinctive. The bag is not only an item to display, but also can be used in daily life.
